I wonder when I will not feel sappy and emotional on Bella's birthday! I know everyone said the time will go by so fast but where is the stop button I cannot believe my baby is 2! Since her birthday is December 23rd i am each year so mindful of Mary I mean can you imagine giving birth in a stable a STABLE not a plush room at Lakeside Women's Hospital with room service and nurses. A STABLE full of stinky animals-what a gift the birth of our Savior and I am so thankful for that gift! Many of times I have felt sorry for Bella having a birthday so close to Christmas then I am reminded of the greatest gift in our Savior that I quickly cry and become so overwhelmed with grace and thankfulness.

Bella at 2 you are full of life, BUSY beyond imagination, independent, strong willed, smart, funny, and BEAUTIFUL! You are our greatest blessing and it is joy and honor to be your parents. We love you so much and pray every day for wisdom in raising you and pray that you know and love the Savior whose birthday you almost share! Here are a few pics from our day today! Since Boo's birthday is December 23rd we celebrated early on Nov. 1st with a great fall party at Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch. We had a hayride, pony rides, roasted hot dogs and smores and enjoyed a prefect Oklahoma Fall day while celebrating our Bella! Here is the day in pictures!

Bella started Mother's Day Out on Tuesday and Thursday last week! We are so blessed she is loving it, she is so social ( wonder where she gets that from) and active that I think it is a prefect fit. She has two of the most precious teachers and they adore her makes me smile every time we get there and she is racing to get to her class! I am also loving the time each week to get so much done! We both love it! Crossings Community Church continues to be such a blessing in our lives in so many ways!

I am so far behind on my blogging but since I mostly do this for memories I am trying to catch up! Our nephew Nick spent the summer with us working for Josh and he was such a blessing we had a really great time and really miss him!!

Josh has wanted Bella's ears pierced for a long time and I did too I am just a baby and did not want to do it! So on Sunday Daddy was brave and took her while Mommy waited outside the store! She looks so big and is even MORE cute than she already was! Thanks Daddy for my diamonds you Rock!

WOW Cool stuff EB!

We had such a blessed and amazing Easter Sunday. We hosted it at our house and had the blessing of having Josh's mom and dad and his grandparents, my parents, my sister and her family, my grandmother and my great aunt! It was a full house and I would have not had it any other way! We enjoyed a great meal, several ATV rides ( even my grandmother went on one!), and of course an egg hunt. My only disappointment is I was a terrible photographer and got very few pictures! We are blessed people to serve a Savior who loves us enough to die for us and rise again! Thanks for a great reason to celebrate with our amazing family!

I struggle with the Easter Bunny because as a Christian Easter is such an important holiday! In my Bible Study on Monday our leader said something that has really resonated with me. She said how easy it is to relate to a baby being born in a manger on Christmas. but yet at Easter how hard it is to think about the brutal death Christ suffered for us and then rose again. Jesus died so I can have eternal life something I did nothing to deserve and when I think about that sacrifice and that HE would have done it even if it was only for me I am overwhelmed! I am a fun mom so yes I did take Bella to see the Easter Bunny, and the pic is adorable but my hope and prayer is that she knows the REAL meaning of Easter and lives her life to serve and love HIM! Be blessed and remember you have a Savior who died and rose again just for you!

15 Months Old Today!!

Oh I have not posted about the little princess in a while so today in honor of her being 15 months old here you go!!! She is in a busy busy stage she never sits still and is always on the go! She is very loud and usually likes to make her presence know by a lovely squeal! She is always happy and very strong willed ( wonder where she gets that from!) She is a pure delight and one of our lives greatest blessings. I feel very blessed to be her mommy and to get to spend my days playing,reading, watching my friends tigger and pooh, and being there for every stage of her life! Life is good and God is soo good to us!

Finally updating the blog! Been a crazy first of the year! We have moved from our home in Tecumseh to the 1300 acre farm Josh is managing! I love our new home it is beautiful on top of a hill with a beautiful view! I feel at home! I am loving my part time job doing the sales and marketing for Deer Springs Lodge which is adjacent to the farm so we both literally work where we live we feel so blessed! Bella will be 15 months old this month and I cannot believe how fun she is- busy and keeps me on my toes! She has such a sweet personality and a beautiful smile that will melt your heart! We are busy and life is crazy most days but we would not have it any other way! Just wanted to update for you 3 readers out there!

One of my gifts from Josh was tickets to the Cotton Bowl! I am a die hard Oklahoma State Fan and the Cowboys were playing Ole Miss at Jerry's World in Dallas! So along with our good friends Tom and Gordona Rowell we headed south on New Years Day! We had so much fun despite the horrible game! We had a great dinner in Ft. Worth's Sundance Square and then Dessert fondue at Simply Fondue! The new Dallas Cowboys Stadium is AMAZING and we had a great time at the game even thought my cowboys played horrible and failed to get me a bowl win! Oh well! Fun Times and Great Memories! GO POKES!!!
